THE INDIE INTERNATIONAL CONTEST DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JULY 31ST 2010!
WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING ENTRIES FOR THE CURRENT CONTEST which officially closes at the 150 song capacity or 07/31/10 (whichever comes first!). Contest categories include:
Folk/Acoustic - still open
Country - still open
Rock - still open
Pop - still open
Instrumental - still open
To submit one or more songs, start by creating an account on our sign-up page. Contests close at 150-song genre capacity or final deadline of July 31st, 2010.
EVERY entrant can log in to their account after the contest has been closed to view their song, contest judge, and their score/critique (depending on your submission type - see below) for their submission. All contestants will also receive a SONGWRITERS PROFILE on the site.
Each contest genre is limited to only the first 150 song entries. You will NOT get lost in the crowd at Indie International!
Songwriters or songwriting teams may enter up to three songs, and can divide these between multiple categories if they wish.
$30 (USD)/song for a BASIC ENTRY w/ standard evaluation
or add only $10 for a FULL CRITIQUE $40 (USD)/song.
YES! EVERYONE gets a standard evaluation with their submission!
Unlike other song competitions, all entries remain absolutely anonymous to our judges. Production value is not taken into consideration. Songs are judged based on originality, melody, composition, lyrics and phrasing.
Indie International is the GREENEST song competition on the planet! No CDs, no bubble mailers, no judge forms! Indie International will be making a charitable donation to the Nature Conservatory by planting 10 trees in each of the names of our first place winners. For more info, please visit www.nature.org
ALL FIRST & SECOND PLACE WINNERS will also be featured here on the front page of the Indie International website for the duration of the next contest, as well as the winners page with the rest of our awarded songwriters.
