Severin Browne

Los Angeles, California

BIOGRAPHY
A former Motown recording artist and staff songwriter, Severin Browne continues to enchant audiences with his clear voice, masterful guitar playing and finely crafted songs. His songs have been cut by Thelma Houston, Patti Dahlstrom, Colin Blunstone, Twiggy, The Dillards, and Pamela Stanley, who had a major hit with Severin's "I Don't Want To Talk About It." He also worked on music for the English version of the Japanese children's film "My Friend Totoro" as well as other Japanese music projects.

His two post-Motown CDs, "From the Edge of The World" released on Moo Records in 1996, and "This Twisted Road" self-released in 2001, have both gotten great reviews. Although "From The Edge of the World" is now out of print, "This Twisted Road" is available at CD Baby and many digital music download sites like iTunes.com and is still getting radio and television play.

Although his writing and performing style has been compared to some of the greats, he contents himself with performing and teaching guitar and songwriting in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. He also teaches at various songwriting camps and seminars. Information on all his activities, including performances and teaching, can be found at www.severinbrowne.com.
