Hailing from the beachside town of Newcastle, Australia, Steve got his first experience in musical theatre, playing the lead role in school musical “Postcards” in 1997. He went on to work as a Stage Manager and Lighting Technician in amateur local productions of ‘Annie’, ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ and ‘Wind in the Willows’. At the same time he built a successful career as a performer in Australia, fronting various rock bands and touring nationally.
His love for studio production began in 2006 when he worked under the direction of Andy Bradfield in London.
Steve’s original pop music has been featured on advertising campaigns for Bunnings, Selley’s and Doric companies in Australia
From 2008-2012 Steve wrote songs for Bill Rich’s musical ‘The House of Finnegan’. He produced the show’s recording in Pasadena, California, and worked as as Artistic Director/ Co-Producer for the inaugural production, in October 2012 at the El Portal Theatre in Los Angeles.
Steve is now based in Leicester, UK and tours nationally as a member of tribute group ‘The Take That Experience’, In his spare time he works on his own songs and recordings.
