NEEDSHES is indie rock band created by singer-songwriter Otabek Salamov in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The project appeared in 2012 when Otto started composing melodic songs, after several years of metalcore (teen-age period). He performed live by way of "vocal, guitar and Mac Book Pro".
Otabek was obliged to move from Uzbekistan, due to lack of opportunities for music promotion. Now he temporarily lives in Moscow where he assembled a full rock band, continued to compose music, issue releases and perform live.
The style of music is alternative, indie rock, brit-pop with echoes of funk, punk, reggae and blues. The band stands out with their charismatic vocal, bright and easily memorable melodies, expressive melodic arrangements. Their music is often compared to Coldplay, Muse, the Killers, Nirvana.
They achieved regional success as a live band, performing at festivals by Metro International newspaper, BOSCO Fresh Fest (shared the stage with the Boxer Rebellion, John Newman), city events in local parks, Hard Rock Cafe etc.
They released EP 'Mixed Feelings' (December, 2016) with leading single Time to See and full studio album 'Feel Alright (June, 2014).
