Jennifer Trijo is currently touring with Cameron Macintosh’s Australian Production of the musical Miss Saigon c/o Louise Withers and Associates. She has shared the lead female role of "Kim" since March 2007 in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and now, Perth. During this journey, the EP was born. Jennifer has been composing songs since the age of 14 and despite having a vast catalogue, this EP, self-titled “Jennifer Trijo” is her debut recording to be released for public distribution.
Jennifer is a classically-trained musician having studied through the AMEB system for both piano and classical voice and completing 3 years of a Bachelor Music/Bachelor Education degree at the University of New South Wales. She has a wealth of live performance to her credit, including being a support act for Major Filipino Recording artists, Cabaret, Corporate work, Show bands such as the Family Von Trapp and Session singing. She is also a two-time pageant winner holding the titles of Miss Teen-Philippines Sydney 1999 and Miss Philippine Independence 2001.
This is the song that makes me want to hear it again and again - because it is like an encouragement and affirmation to me that I could try in the hard time when I don't have a direction but I know there is some place I have to get to. Thanks to the song writer for writing this beautiful song!
