Sarah began her musical journey with a classical training in voice & piano, studying piano performance at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Following her music education, Sarah collaborated with indie band Long-View on songwriting, production and vocal arrangement. Long-View were later signed to 14th Floor under Warners, and Sarah's vocals and songwriting skills can be heard on their debut album 'Mercury' and further releases.
Following on from her work with Long-View, Sarah collaborated with a variety of songwriters and artists including Dave Munday, Sacha Collisson (Aurora), Graham Kearnes, Tim Kellett (Olive), The Flashbrothers and Lisa Scott-Lee (Steps). She enjoyed commercial success as a writer co-penning 'Sunrise' which was released by Angel City on Ministry of Sound and reached the UK Top Ten. She also co-wrote 'City Lights' which appeared on the same Angel City album, 'Love Me Right'.
Other releases include 'Mesmerized' co-written with Sacha Collisson which appeared across many projects including Hed Kandi's Twisted Disco & Female Goddess compilations, 'Wanna Be Your Girl' for Kush, 'Real Life' for Aurora, 'Amen' which was released by the Flash Brothers on Sony Records, a song used by Jacob's Creek in Australia and a song used by Oxfam (TV advert).
After a break from songwriting to work in the Music Industry (PPL, UK Music) and music education, Sarah began writing again this year (2019) and has joined the Songwriting Academy (Martin Sutton).
Sarah is currently writing with Hannah Williams (Jay Z '4.44'), Chris Redmond (Tongue-Fu) and Glenn Fosbraey and is collaborating with emerging artists in her local area (Ellie Cant, Leon Chatterton, Eric Walker). Sarah is also a lecturer in Popular Music Performance at Winchester University (starting January 2020) and has a private practice of piano students.
