Antony Wood has been performing everywhere and anywhere around central North Carolina as a solo acoustic songwriter for the past two years infusing his own brand of signature, grungy acoustic guitar riffs with carefully crafted writing depicting his own personal demons and fears. After playing in garage bands and in one highly successful Country/Classic Rock cover band, the singer/songwriter has stripped down to basics - a guitar and a mic.
A regular to bars, clubs, listening rooms, and coffee houses in the Raleigh, Garner, Clayton, Smithfield, Selma, and Rocky Mount areas, Antony Wood continues to grow his ever expanding fan base. Reciting huge influences from 90's Grunge/Alternative legends Nirvana and Pearl Jam, as well as Modern Rock bands such as Chevelle and Three Days Grace, and songwriting geniuses like Neutral Milk Hotel and Death Cab for Cutie; Antony Wood's vision of a new brand of "Rock" music is undeniable. Sounding far from anything currently in popularity today, the musician is still striving for a perfected sound to match his incredible dream; The next Rock n'Roll Revolution.
