Singer-songwriter, Jason Kalman, has been playing music his whole life. He grew up in Staten Island NY. During that time, he played drums in school bands and later took up piano and guitar.
While studying classical piano, classical guitar and playing drums in the University Jazz Ensemble at Binghamton University, Jason fueled his love of rock/pop by composing many songs over this 4 year period.
After graduating college, Jason became a regular at local open mic nights in Downtown Hampton, VA.
He released his debut album "Liberation" produced by Jim Ebert (Butch Walker, Meredith Brooks, Everclear, Madonna) and recorded at Cue Recording Studio in Falls Church, VA. He released the single "Liberation" and received local radio support. He toured extensively in support of the album.
Presently, he is finishing a follow up album. The first single called "Daylie" was produced by Luke Beaulac and recorded at Evermore Sound Studios, Orlando Florida.
