SONGWRITERS BIOGRAPHY
John McVey is an award winning songwriter, who's shared stages and studio gigs with Jonatha Brooke, Chuck Pyle, Shawn Mullins, Edwin McCain, Rose Hill Drive and more. But that doesn't matter ... What matters are the songs.
McVey just released his third CD, UNPREDICTABLE. His previous two CDs are Jigsaw (2000) and Circle Of Friends (1994). "I'm not prolific" he admits. "I do a record every ten years or so, whether I need to or not." He works as a producer/engineer at a recording studio in Boulder CO. He's produced hundreds of projects, including artists like Chuck Pyle, with whom he's done three CDs so far. But his own songs and performances over the years are some pretty damned fine work.
