I enjoy the honesty in this song. Lyrically I feel like he means every word he sings. The Guitar notes in the last verse remind me of a more authentic musical time. It is great to hear something that has a point of difference finally... enough to make your spine shiver a wee bit...I dig...

I hopefully have the honor of being the first to post a review here for Barrett. I loved this song. Barrett has skillfully taken his history, present and future and fused them into an intricate and compelling piece. The lyric is solid and states the theme succinctly and clearly. The tempo, melody and chord progressions lay a foundation that is full and complete. The bridge of the song is worthy of a Dylan piece and makes sense in a very mature manner. I found myself patting my feet, nodding my head and listening very intently to all of the facets of the song. I actually said: "Yeah!" at the end of the song. Waiting breathlessly for the next journey with you, Barrett!
