Prairie girl, flatlander, farmer’s daughter and farmer’s wife…that’s me. I grew up on a farm in rural Manitoba, Canada. With diplomas in Business Administration and in Agribusiness, and a Media Production certificate, work took me to work at various radio stations in Manitoba before heading west to Saskatchewan and to a career in agriculture where I met and married my farmer husband :) The late 90's and early 2000's found me playing local establishments with a few bands, including The Last Little Bar Band - covering popular songs from old and new country to classic and new rock.
Music has always been a part of life, whether begging Dad to play “Wheels” on the guitar one more time, or waking up to Mom singing and playing the piano. Mom was the force behind piano lessons at 5 years old. By the time I was 12 I had decided that guitar was the way to go, and wherever life has taken me, I've always carrried with me the love and desire to play, sing and write.
