Born and raised in Lowell, MA, Dave had just begun playing in downtown bars before he moved to San Francisco in 1991. There, he took over rhythm guitar and lead vocals for the Bay Area band, The Rave Onís. whoís soul purpose was to play Chuck Berry music.
After almost 10 years in San Francisco her returned to Boston co-found Donít Call Me Shirley. Shirley became a North Shore favorite classic rock cover band but after 10 years and 500 gig it was back to San Francisco.
Over the last several years Dave released his first CD, All Night Radio, in July 2007. His second release, Going Places, was released in November of 2010, just before his return to California.
Now based in Petaluma, and loving the fertile music scene in Sonoma County, he is returning to the acoustic singer/songwriter side of life looking forward to new adventures and working on his third album.
