Dylan Arnot writes and performs his music internationally. He began writing songs in his early teens - folk-infused pop, influenced by the likes of Paul Kelly, Paul Simon and Bob Dylan.
Working with Screaming Jets/Sex pistols producer Steve James, he has crafted a unique flavour of expression. Drawing from his anger towards Australia's deplorable immigration policy and the damage it has wreaked upon the innocent lives of those seeking asylum and freedom in Australia, Dylan wrote "The Girl From Kosovo" to bring human ears back to the situation.
He has performed live to refugees detained in Brisbane, Australia - some who have waited in the detention centres for three years, waiting for their papers to be signed and their rights as free human beings to be granted, while all around them depression, self-harm and suicide reign supreme.
