Descended from four generations of Scottish and early Australian colonial musicians, it is not surprising that Kelly has music in her blood. Kelly is a trained singer with an eclectic mix of musical influences and has studied jazz, blues, musical theatre, popular and classical singing under the tuition of Andrea Garing.
Kelly has been writing songs since she was a child. Her various boxes of journals with lyric bits and pieces are known to be located in many locations around her house. Although she has written many completed songs as well it is only in recent years has she grasped the opportunity to allow the world to start hearing her work.
She has spent the last three years studying songwriting, marketing, recording and producing with Berklee College of Music Online and has been expanded her writing, arranging and orchestration skills to write music in a variety of genres from folk, jazz, celtic, pop, has been exploring world music fusion compositional styles and even dabbling in writing ideas for symphonic/power heavy metal.
