SONG INFORMATION

  • NOTHING REALLY ENDS BEFORE WE DIE
Written by: Sara Jane Ceccarelli/Anne Truelsen Geertsen
    Genre: pop
The song has been inspired to me by lyrics from my Danish Friend Anne Geertsen, that had perfomed with me for a year while living in Rome. We are both "archers" as we like to think, girls that constantly fight in their lives. Great and important "fights" for music, for love, for a better life both for us and the others. Always smiling. And in this fight we like to think that "nothing really ends before we die" and that there is always time to try again, create and make this world a better place.

  • BE HUMAN
Written by: Sara Jane Ceccarelli/Anne Truelsen Geertsen
    Genre: pop
This song has been inspired to me by lyrics written by my Danish friend Anne Truelsen Geertsen, with whom I have performed for a year in Rome while she was living here. I have added part of the lyrics and melody. It is about "being human", about letting ourselves be "dirty, messy" instead of constantly judging ourselves. We are both musicians, and females, and the music world it's sometimes really tough, so it is like constantly living like a soldier, administrating ourselves, achieving the best every day. But...we are just humans, and also who lives beside us is just human. So it is important to let it go...sometimes. Arrangment by Sara Jane Ceccarelli/Luigi Di Chiappari

  • THE MAN WHO DREW BODIES IN THE WATER
Written by: Sara Jane Ceccarelli/Anne Truelsen Geertsen
    Genre: pop
This song is dedicated to the great artist and friend Nicola Rotiroti. Nicola is a famous Italian painter (www.rotiroti.it) and the night I first met him I was very impressed by this man that had a "simple smile and spoke as a shy poet". Then I asked him what his work was about, and he was really embarrassed so a friend had to explain for him: he only drew bodies in the water. Amazing, huge paintings with these incredible big faces all deformed by the water. And then I wrote this song, without knowing anything else about him and he said "this song it's me". And now we are really close friends. Arrangement Sara Jane Ceccarelli/Luigi Di Chiappari
