SONGWRITERS BIOGRAPHY

I am Eli Gauden - a singer/songwriter from Norway. I'm a writer, performer and communicator. To me, communication is a key to many aspects in life, and the primary motivation for what I do; and for that I strive to use the music to let people feel and to create a sense of understanding between each other! I'm about to finsih up my Songwriting degree at Berklee College of Muisc in Boston. Meanwhile, I performed locally at bars, cafes, and other private and public event/venues. My music is blues/folk/roots oriented, and my aim is to mix these American influences with my own traditions, thus creating my own musical voice. In genral my music is laidback, soft and easy listening. My covers are the same, although they are usually familiar to the air. I chose artists such as Bob Dylan, The Beatles, John Mayer, Sam Smith, and Frank Sinatra, to mention some - music that can fit into a varity of venues and events. Currently I'm in a turning point in my life where I have the freedom to go wherever the music takes me, and for that I am excited!
