Alexia started writing songs on the guitar at the age of 21 during university years in Athens and played them mostly among friends at the time. She had studied the piano for a few years in Athens and one year in Belgium and learned how to play the guitar during highschool years, by playing mostly covers or helping out at the school choir.
More lyrics and music were written later on, when she was again in Brussels from 2003 onwards, while most recent recordings as well as performances in public became more solid and interesting. The singer/songwriter Brussels scene in 2005 has offered the valuable grounds upon which many of the recent songs, and some older ones, were performed in public for the first time.
However, since there has always been space and need for alterations, additional instrumental input and extra vocals in most of the songs this process will finally take place in the following months so that two separate albums are created. In addition to the already existing ones, three more recent songs will be recorded, one of which concerns the Canadian seal ‘hunt’.
