ANNIE LYNN is a singer/songwriter/publisher from Pennsylvania.

In February 2008, Annie and one of her writing partners, Jim Burns, were selected as finalists for Best Country/Bluegrass song in the International Acoustic Music Awards, for their song, “MY BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAIN SKIES.” This song is currently receiving national airplay. “My Blue Ridge Mountain Skies” enjoyed 14 weeks at #1 in the Broadjam.com Top 10 Country/Bluegrass Genre, and went on to celebrate another 14 weeks in the Top 10 for a total of 28 consecutive weeks! It is currently (as of this writing) back in the Top 10 there.

In February 2007, Annie and her 11 year old son, Alexander, were selected as finalists for Best Group/Duo in the International Acoustic Music Awards for their song, “That’s All There Is…” This song is also receiving national airplay.

Children’s song, “New School” was awarded Honorable Mention (children’s genre)in the 2007 Session I John Lennon Songwriting Competition. “New School” was also published on a CD compilation for Indie Music for Life, and sold as a fundraiser for pediatric cancer research, as well as distributed to pediatric cancer patients in the US. This song is currently enjoying national airplay.

The Principal of AnnieBirdd Music, LLC, Annie has been bringing
her music and the works of other musicians to radio, television,
film/documentaries, the internet, and schools.

Annie is currently in the studio with her kids performing troupe
(called the “F – Troupe” for friends), finishing her second CD,
“Annie Lynn: Songs About Cookies and Life…” as well as a third CD entitled “NO TIME FOR HATE AND OTHER SONGS FOR SCHOOLS.” Release is late summer, 2008.

JAMES BURNS is an accomplished actor and songwriter
from Southern California. James’ many songs have
been featured on National radio. His songs have been
repeatedly in the Broadjam.com Top 10 Country/Bluegrass
Genre, and “My Blue Ridge Mountain Skies” enjoyed
14 weeks there at #1.

In 1999, James was stricken with Reflex Sympathetic
Dystrophy, for which there is no cure. While he is unable
to work, it has allowed him to fulfill his dream of teaching
himself to sing, play the acoustic guitar, and of course,
write songs on his beautiful Martin guitar. James loves
life, and is a huge fan of the great entertainer, Doc Watson.
