About Me

Written by Robin Wiley & Buck Lovett

Robin Wiley is an American Southern Rock, soulful singer, songwriter, record producer and actress. She made her recording debut in 2008 becoming the first recording artist to have performed with Grammy nominee Frankie Fuchs, in which they have revamped and performed numerous Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan songs throughout North America. After moving from Austin via New York City and LA, Robin has worked with some of the top producers and musicians, becoming a highly sought-after vocalist. Robin has numerous national jingles and voice-overs to her credit with appearances as an actress on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, “Sarah Silverman” and “Ghost Whispers” & was in a PBS Special, portraying Lefty Lou on the “American Masters” series. Robin gained great insight and appreciation for Woody’s music, revamping numerous Woody Guthrie songs, as well as developing her own original material, culminating in Robin’s debut album. Learning from Woody & inspired by Gary Haugen who spoke at Bel Air Presbyterian Church, led to the collaboration w/ the extremely talented artist/producer Buck Lovett. The message here is to bring awareness to people & to also help children who have been rescued from child slavery & human trafficking. “We want to make a difference, for every child suffering in the world, we hope and pray that this helps.”

-“Robin, I just received your CD and would just like to tell you how remarkable your talent is. The disk is amazing and I am honored to have been able to play on such an honest and creative record. I hope you remember me when you’re at the top.”
