Bio: Chris Sveistrup

Chris is a Calgary based recording song writer who has loved creating music since he was a child. He surrounded himself with many genres growing up and has a particular affinity for folk music like that of Paul Simon and Peter, Paul and Mary. He has been a performing artist and more recently he has enjoyed the process of recording music. Chris works as a professional musician who facilitates recording groups with his company Living Voices in conjunction with InsideOut Theatre. insideOut Theatre works specifically with people of mixed abilities and Living Voices helps clients to express musically. His most recent cd, Altadore (released February 2010), was co-created with a group of people who have at one time or another all resided in the S.W. community of Altadore. Chris hopes to continue recording with the aim of making each song unique and playing with a diversity of genres from folk rock to singer-songwriter to spoken word.
