Dedicated to music at an early age, I started my first band at age fourteen. It wasn’t much of a band but it was a start. By age sixteen I had a working band in Yakima, Wa. Playing originals and bands like early Fleetwood Mac, The Stones, Chuck Berry, Neil Young and others. Neil Young was a big influence on me and “Last Trip To Tulsa”, off his first album was the first song I played compleately through.
Since that time I’ve played in a myriad of bands. My studies have been from classical to rock with many stops in between. I play many Instruments and am fluent on them all, But guitar and voice are my true loves.
I Now am in three bands: Feast is a working cover band, where I still play a few originals here and there, Based in Vancouver, Wa. I am working on a new album with the original bass player from DWROCK (Howard Dyer) it is looking really good.
The Move was Created when I was coming out a thirteen year marraige and portrays a view on not giving up on your dreams. There were three people in the band, Me: Dale Wilson – all guitar and vocals, Howard Dyer on bass and Lynn Doll on drums. We practiced in Tri-Cities, Wa. and recorded in Seattle, Wa. at Ironwood Studios. We recorded fourteen songs in 24 hrs as we had very linited funds and THE MOVE was done on the first take. I hope you enjoy the song as many others do.
