From a very young age, David was deeply moved by music. While other kids were out in the sandbox and playing with matchbox cars, 3 year old David went nowhere without his tape machine with his favorite cassette (Creedence Clearwater Revival.) As early as 8 years old, David learned to play many simple songs on instruments such as Harmonica, hand drums, acoustic guitar and piano.

It wasn’t until about age 16 when David became serious about music and dedicated the next 5 years to guitar, playing in local rock bands and shows. It wasn’t long that he realized that his real passion was studio work. He bought basic recording gear and started recording his own band demos. In late 2013, David met cowriter Steven Solof (Stebs) and, finding great chemistry together, they have since written many songs together. After realizing how difficult it could be to find vocalists to work with, David started writing lyrics and singing their songs.

Now, David is aspiring to become a professional songwriter and is based in southern New Jersey. He is just breaking into songwriting and is working on new music every day in the Pop, Pop Rock and Rock genres. Lyrical and musical style ranges from happy love songs to the dark and mysterious. Emphasis is usually on universal feelings or stories that others can hopefully relate to.

His recent influences include artists like Matt Nathanson, The Fray, Imagine Dragons, One Republic, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, as well as rock bands 30 Seconds to Mars, Tool, Deftones, Three Doors Down, older Alice in Chains and Day of the New and many more!
