Justina was born in New Hampshire but grew up in Roanoke, Virginia. She started writing music when she was 10. Since then she has written more than 70 songs for both piano and guitar.
After transferring to Community High School of Arts and Academics, she joined the school’s rock band. With them, she has played mulitiple gigs ranging from school-wide performances to community events, including Strawberry Festival, Down By the River Festival and Floydfest.
Currently, she is teaching herself how to use music software, like Logic. She has already created studio quality productions of her songs. Now she is studying at the Frost School of Music at University of Miami as part of the class of 2015. She is majoring in Media Writing and Production and was one of 15 nationwide to be accepted to the Bruce Hornsby Contemporary Songwriting program.
