I have been a singer/songwriter for as long as I can remember, sitting at a tiny piano, making songs awake and in my dreams. Songwriting has been for me like a personal diary of the changing events in my life, the realisations and tribulations.
I have recorded many albums in my life but I havent learnt how to marketed them, yet. Some are very personal, some women oriented, some are radio friendly, some spiritual. Now I believe that there is a place for everyone, and have come to enjoy the persuit of songwriting as a career.
Professionally I have worked in a band called Turiiya in the 80’s and early 90’s, as well as the experimental group From Scratch in NZ (Phil Dadson, Don McGlashin). From the 90’s I began my solo career, with producers Michael Lloyd and Chris Banks. Recently I have recorded the albums Unity Hours I in london, produced by Michael Lloyd and Adam Fox whilst working on my PhD in Music, focussing on Praise music and the performancne of ecstasy’ in Rarh, India.
Working on film scores is something new in my career and I find it both exciting and challenging. This year my goal is to complete Unity Hours II CD and to make songwriting and teaching kirtan music my career.
