is a composer/songwriter and piano instructor who is truly passionate about music and eager to finally let her music be heard. Before receiving her B.A. from the University of Illinois at Chicago, she studied music at a collegiate level at Illinois Wesleyan University where she received a four year scholarship for Piano Performance and received musical training for a semester in Paris, France at the Schola Cantorum. She was also co-founder and piano accompanist for Illinois Wesleyan’s first gospel choir. has a considerable performance background and was awarded Best Lyrics in March 2017 for her song “Confusion Town” for the American Tracks Music Awards. Presently her focus is on gaining more professional feedback on her work and hopefully gaining the opportunity to expand her resources so that she can foster her music writing skill. She is also currently composing a music score for the short film “There Are No Words” that honors the public statement given by the unnamed Stanford rape victim in 2016. dream is to continue to use her writing abilities to manifest meaningful, beautiful, and positive works of art.
