A singer/songwriter with a powerful voice and range, Martha Sterling-Golden was an opening act for the Emmy-winning songwriter and performer Bill Chinnock at Maines larger venues. She has performed around the northeastern US as a solo performer and in rock bands. Her songs and vocals have a powerful, unflinching intimacy.
Life took a detour when Sterling-Golden was chosen to run a global women’s leadership program, but the yearning for music would not go away. Martha has come back to music with a drive to try new things, and a strong catalogue of new, original songs. Her first full-length disc, “Norumbega Fault”, is in the planning stages with Grammy-nominated engineer and renowned indie musician & songwriter Jud Caswell, and scheduled for release in late spring of 2013.
