Some of you may know me as Steve Ed Stone which I assure you…I still am. I’m still that old chunk of coal but as the song goes I’ll be a diamond someday!!!:-) I started writing songs when I passed the half century mark as my sons like to say. When I started I was sending my songs to a studio in Nashville on a cassette tape recorded into an old Karaoke machine bought at a yard sale. I didn’t have a guitar and hadn’t had one in my hands in 20 plus years. I bought a cheap one and soon discovered playing a guitar just wasn’t as easy as it used to be. I’ve re-taught mysef to play a few chords and have upgraded my recording software to pro tools and now have a Taylor 114e acoustic and an Xtone Semi Hollow Body electric. My passion is for writing and yes I love to sing too.
