Hailing from Dublin and now living in Australia, this award winning, multi-instrumental duo’s original songs are contemporary and eclectic with a hint of Irish.
The instrumentation includes vocals, flageolet, guitar, sax, flute, recorder and sequencing. Their success has been soaring internationally since the release of their CDs that have received critical acclaim with both ‘Vision’ and ‘Live @ the Malthouse’ rated three and a half stars in major publications. Sahara has spent years on the road touring around Australia – their most recent tour was promoting their latest release ‘A New Beginning’. Trish and Dave are currently in pre production of a new CD that will be released later this year. Sahara’s music has recently been featured in an international travel campaign promoting Ireland to Mexico. This advertisement is also being played in over 300 BlockBuster outlets throughout Mexico!
