It don’t seem long ago, that foghorn had to blow!

Telling me it’s time to leave, to fight a war across the sea.

But we were so in love, our family had just begun!

Please keep me in your heart and remember when,

I get back we’ll start our lives again!

My kids were oh so young, and they were so much fun!

They play and smile for me, a hug, a kiss and a goodbye daddy!
