I’m living in a snow globe
See my life turned upside down
All the things I used to stand on
Have just gone flying past my crown

When you’re living in a snow globe…
The weather’s shaped by others’ hands.

I’m living in a fish bowl
Spend my days just swimming round
Those plastic castles of futility
Where no sane purpose can be found

I’m living in a shot glass
Drinking bitter wine
I don’t want to be a drunkard
But I’ve just got to soothe my mind

I’m living in a skylight
Staring at the sun
As it leaks over the horizon
Asking me what what it is I’ve done
Asking me what I’ve ever done

I’m standing with my bags packed
About to throw a stone
Time for me to leave this paradise
Find myself a better home.

I’m leaving this snow globe…
I’ll make my weather from now on.
