Stick Around Some More

I’ve been livin’,
On the banks of women,
Who never seem to let their streams run wide.

And I’ve gone swimmin’,
In seas of crimson,
But I somehow seem to always come up dry.

Chorus:

But I’m breathing on my own again, but I can’t say how long.
Maybe I’m supposed to stay,
I guess that’s the way it is.
I need to see what it’s for, guess I’ll stick around some more.

Dipped my quiver,
Into the river,
And watched as all my arrows disappeared.
Gone forever, every feather,
To the darkness down below that we all fear.

Chorus:

But I’m breathing on my own again, I can’t say how long.
Maybe I’m supposed to stay,
I guess that’s the way it is.
I need to see what it’s for, guess I’ll stick around some more.
