STRANGE DAY
by MIKE O'BRYAN
Genre: Folk/Acoustic
Lyrics
A little boy cries ’cause he lost his balloon
The drunkard sees it fly away
as a plane comes in for a landing
A minute of a day
An act in a play
Strange Day
And the sun was out and so was the moon
And the trees all swayed
and the wind was high and fire burned on the hillside
A heavenly day
with hell to pay
Strange day
And a woman I know who sometimes is a girl
wrote this song
and I made it mine and sang it back in a daydream
The melody I played
carried us away
Strange day
